Further Seems Forever

Further Seems Forever,

Merupakan band asal pompano beach, florida, Amerika. Di bentuk pada tahun 1998. Band ini merupakan band project pertama Christ Carraba, dan kebetulan christ menjadi vokalisnya. Pada tahun 1998, christ merilis album pertamanya yang berjudul “An Ocean of Doubt”. Lagu yang di populerkannya berjudul “Vengeance Factor”. Pada tahun 2001, Christ merilis album yang berjudul “Th Moon Is Down”, namun tidak lama setelahnya, Christ pun keluar dari Further Seems Forever untuk rekaman dan merilis album solo keduanya yang berjudul “The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most”, lalu “EP”, dan yang terakhir “So Impossible”, namun album-album tersebut dirilis dibawah nama Dashboard Confessional.

Setelah Christ Carraba keluar dari further seems forever, akhirnya band tersebut merekruit Jason Gleason sebagai pengganti vokalis Christ Carraba. Pada saat Jason Gleason menjadi vokalis, pada tahun 2002 band ini menyanyikan ulang lagu “It say ain’t so” yang dipopulerkan oleh Weezer, dan merupakan salah satu band yang terdaftar di album Punk Goes Pop, menyanyikan lagu “Bye Bye Bye” yang di populerkan oleh N’Sync. Mereka pun merilis album terbarunya pada tahun 2003 yang berjudul “How To Set A Fire”. Namun pada tahun 2004, Jason tidak bertahan lama, ia pun keluar karena ada permasalahan internal pada band tersebut. Tak lama, posisinya pun di gantikan oleh bekas vokalis Sense field, Jon Bunch. Pada masa inilah Further Seems Forever merilis album terakhirnya yang berjudul “Hide Nothing”. setelah merilis album terakhir, band ini pun bubar pada tahun 2006.

Pada tahun 2010 Further seems forever kembali merilis album album barunya. Christ Carraba kemudian menjadi vokalis kembali hingga saat ini.

Burning for two weeks, American oil company Chevron denies that this oil rig explosion is causing environmental damage in the Niger Delta, Nigeria.

The company says that the leaked and burning oil poses no risk to human health or the environment. There seems to be no concrete plans to stop the fire, which has been burning since about January 23rd.

Chevron is paying off a nearby village with food, and activists are being stonewalled by the company.

Why are oil companies not forced to have emergency systems in place?
